Every Wednesday, there is sport in St Josephs from 1.10pm to 3.10pm.

The students partake in water-polo/swimming, football, badminton, basketball and tag rugby.

Tag rugby was a new addition this year and an official from the Leinster Tag Rugby organisation came to explain and demonstrate the rules. The students enjoy it very much and very quickly mastered the rules.

Badminton and basketball take place in the sports hall of the Deaf Village Ireland complex and Deaf Sport Ireland provide the nets and racquets. This facility is top class and is particularly welcome when the weather is inclement.
